One Unwired Day is designed to show businesspeople and consumers the benefits of the unwired lifestyle and encourage them to try Wi-Fi services. Boingo is a gold sponsor of the event and will be present at the Wi-Fi festivals held in New York City, Chicago and San Francisco.
Boingo will offer consumers a free connect day on 25th September giving access to the thousands of hot-spot locations in the Boingo network. Users need to have the free Boingo Software and a user name and password that will be available from a special Boingo website.
