Palm releases security update for Tungsten T3
Palm Security 5.0p combines strong security and ease of use in one application. Features include data encryption, intrusion protection and faster password entry. Used together, these security measures create a formidable barrier to would-be intruders.

New Features
  • 128-bit Data Encryption
  • Ensure the confidentiality of your handheld data with encryption. Once the handheld is locked, your data will remain encrypted until the correct password is entered. Encrypt all of your data or only selected applications. Choice of algorithms includes AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) or RSA Security's RC4. Quick Password Entry
  • Enter your password with one hand using the new "Quick Unlock" feature.
  • FIPS-certified AES
  • Protect data with FIPS 140-2 certified AES implementation.
  • Intrusion Protection
  • Guard against a dictionary attack by limiting failed password attempts.
