Palm update for Tungsten TE: SD IO support
Posted on 6-Oct-2003 18:59 | Tags Filed under: News

Palmone released an update for the new Tungsten TE bringing improvements for the SD IO drivers.

This file contains a set of improvements for the SD IO driver on the Tungsten E handheld. This update includes the following enhancements:
  • Support for current and future SDIO products
  • Support for MMC Memory Cards greater than 64 Megabytes

Important: This update is ONLY for Tungsten E handhelds and should not be installed on a non-Tungsten E handheld. If installed on a non-Tungsten E handheld, the device will fail to respond to expansion cards.

Since this update replaces a system file, it cannot be removed using the "App/Delete" menu on the handheld. The support page contains instructions on how to remove this if needed.
