Microsoft ActiveSync 3.71 available
Users of Microsoft Windows Mobile devices (Pocket PC and Smartphones) can now download the new version of ActiveSync.

This is a not complete new version, only an update covering a few issues:
  • Enhances USB driver to improve connection stability and avoid crashes
  • Improves detection of cradled devices
  • Addresses issue with ActiveSync falling into guest mode repeatedly
  • Addresses issue where desktop fails to detect cradled device
  • Addresses issue where device and desktop report different connection states and sync does not start
  • Improves the reliability of large file transfers
  • Enhances Desktop Connection Wizard UI to make connection setup easier
  • Improves stability to reduce application level crashes

    The following devices are supported:
  • Pocket PC 2003
  • Pocket PC 2002, OS version 3.0
  • Pocket PC 2000, OS version 3.0
  • Smartphone 2003
  • Smartphone 2002, OS version 3.0
  • Handheld PC 2000, OS version 3.0
  • Handheld PC Professional, OS version 2.11
  • Palm-size PC 1.1, OS version 2.11
