Japanese NTT DoCoMo releases 3G CF cards for Windows CE 3.0 and CE .Net
NTT DoCoMo developed its first FOMA compact flash card, P2402, which will enable 3G videophone and other wireless data communication via PCs and PDAs, such as DoCoMo's sigmarion III. The sales launch will be announced as soon as it is fixed.

The P2402 will offer high-speed packet transmissions of up to 384 kbps for downlinks and 64 kbps for uplinks, as well as 64 kbps for circuit-switched data transmissions. DoCoMo's new flash memory card will enable videophone calls between a PC and a FOMA handset.

The card is compatible with Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows CE 3.0 and Windows CE .NET (Japanese versions only for now).
