Cingular Wireless and LG Mobile Phones announced that Cingular is the first carrier in the U.S. to offer LG’s new line of handsets for the Global System for Mobile communications (GSM). LG Mobile Phones and Cingular are also introducing LG’s first two GSM handsets, the G4010 and G4050.
“LG’s goal is to provide consumers with fashionable phones that give them the functions and services that they want,” said Jae Hoon Bae, president of LG Mobile Phones. “Introducing a whole new group of feature-rich GSM handsets designed specifically for Cingular Wireless to compliment their new services gives customers the opportunity to experience these impressive services in great style.”
