MTV Espana to distribute content via Vodafone, Telefonica and Amena

Content distribution company aspiro has signed an agreement with MTV Espaņa to become MTV Espaņa's technical provider of music content to mobile phones. The agreement, which initially runs for twelve months, means that MTV Espaņa will be able to offer ring tones from the MTV Espaņa Top Interactive Lists, video-streaming from their best videos, etc in WAP and i.mode
The agreement is built upon revenue sharing with and an initial fee for installation of technical systems (WAP- and i.mode portals).
MTV Espaņa's mobile music services will include:
polyphonic ringtones from MTV EspaņaTop Interactive Lists
interviews with celebrities
information on special events like MTV awards and MTV Day
video streaming from their best videos
MTV Espaņa's mobile services on WAP platforms will be launched during late autumn through the Spanish mobile operators Telefonica, Amena and Vodafone, which together reach about 33 million subscribers.
