OnlyDomains, an online retailer of domain names and other services, has agreed to be acquired by CentralNic, one of the fastest growing technology companies on the London Stock Exchange.

CentralNic’s CEO Ben Crawford said: “I have travelled the world looking for businesses to acquire, and OnlyDomains and its related companies were the best I found anywhere. It has already helped almost 100,000 businesses get online, in New Zealand, Australia and many other countries. Their customer service team in Napier is so good, we are going to give them responsibility for all our existing clients globally.”

OnlyDomains CEO, New Zealander Desleigh Jameson will take on the role of head of all of CentralNic’s retail operations worldwide and join the main Board of CentralNic on the London Stock Exchange, whilst remaining based in Auckland.

“We are delighted to have Desleigh and the entire staff joining the CentralNic family,” said Ben Crawford. “Retaining the full New Zealand team will ensure that local customers of OnlyDomains will continue receiving the great service and deals that OnlyDomains has become famous for – like .nz domain names for only $16.49.”

Auckland-based CEO Desleigh Jameson added:. “OnlyDomains’ new parent company will be adding more expertise and technical development resources to give local companies even better service and new tools including a DIY website builder allowing anyone to build their own professional standard website, as well as the lowest prices yet for cool new domain names like .online and .xyz.”
