Posted on 4-Dec-2003 08:16 | Tags Filed under: News

GRIC and SingTel Mobile are teaming up to provide SingTel Mobile's one million customers with Wi-Fi service, powered by GRIC.

SingTel Mobile's new Overseas Wireless Surf service enables its customers to get high-speed data and voice services with one account and one invoice. SingTel Mobile customers just need to use their GPRS user ID and password to use GRIC's Wi-Fi service when they travel outside of Singapore.

Mr. Hui Weng Cheong, SingTel's Vice-President (Consumer Products), said: "Our Internet customers already enjoy extensive Wi-Fi access overseas through our partnership with GRIC. Now our mobile customers will also benefit from having the same high-quality Wi-Fi coverage at over 2,000 locations in 21 countries.".
