Beiks introduces BDicty Dictionary Reader for Windows Mobile Smartphones

Posted on 10-Dec-2003 15:50 | Filed under: News

Beiks announced a new version of its BDicty Dictionary Reader family for the Windows Mobile Smartphones platform.

BDicty is an award-winning handheld dictionary reader that enables users to view reference lexicons available at Beiks' web site. Lexicons include classic language dictionaries, talking phrasebooks (for international travelers), medical, biblical and other specialized reference works, among many others. There are several free reference lexicons available for BDicty, many of which were submitted by current application users.

The new Windows Smartphone version of the program was especially built from the ground up to reflect platform specific needs and requirements such as minimal display size and one-hand operation.

American and European Windows Smartphone users traveling to Athens for the 2004 Olympic Games will benefit from the new Greek dictionary and talking phrasebooks developed especially for the event. They are expected to be released within a month.
