Updated MapsGo work with VGA resolution Windows Mobile devices
The free MapsGo application has been updated to support newer Windows Mobile devices with VGA resolution, like the Toshiba e805. The application, by Jan Simkovic, is a free raster GIS for Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2003.

The current version supports VGA (640x480) resolution and a GPS interface.

The software comes with a desktop PC companion. The software also export maps to MapMap, a mapping solution for Palm OS handhelds. Users can move the map, search and show the points database, edit and delete information from points database in both the Pocket PC and desktop software.

The website contains links to existing maps, and to the EVB runtime needed if the users wants to use a CF GPS.
