Who is the mysterious character who wrote this document, 250 years ago?
Posted on 4-Feb-2003 18:28 | Filed under: News

This article on The Scotsman newspaper tells us the story of CM, a person who lived in Scotland, and wrote a theory that led to telegraph and mobile phone... But no one really knows who was this person.

But people of that time could not see why, or how, that could influence their lives.

Dr William Watson, who lived in London around 1747, wrote: "We are not yet so far advanced in these discoveries to render them conducive to the service of mankind."
