TDK Bluetooth stack update

TDK Systems has released an update driver and software package for their Bluetooth line of products, available now from their website.

This new version 1.4.2.18 update adds the HID (Human Interface Device) profile, giving users of these products the ability to connect and work with new Bluetooth products, like the Bluetake BT500 Bluetooth mouse and even the Microsoft Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.

The new version will also include a firmware update tool. The user needs to run an application called Bluetooth device information.exe. This can be found from C:\Program Files\TDK Systems\ Bluetooth software\ bin. When you run the Bluetooth device information application, you will see an UPDATE button if a firmware update is available for your device. Note that you should not unplug or power down the device while the firmware update is in progress.

For Nokia 3650 and Sony Ericsson P800 / P900 users there's a new utility that will automatically configure the mRouter software for Bluetooth synchronisation.
