D-Link ANZ expands connected smart home with new HD Wi-Fi cameras
D-Link ANZ has expanded its line of smart home security solutions with two new affordable HD Wi-Fi Cameras. Designed for a variety of security applications, the DCS-8000LH Mini HD Wi-Fi Camera and DCS-8100LH HD 180 Degree Wi-Fi Camera offer premium features, including advanced video monitoring capabilities and wide viewing angles, all in crisp HD video quality.

As part of D-Link's Connected Home series of devices, the two new D-Link cameras can also be connected or controlled through other platforms including the Google Assistant, IFTTT (If This Then That) and Amazon Alexa for a truly personalised smart home experience.

The DCS-8000LH provides crisp HD 720p video to help users keep an eye on their homes at all times. A built-in IR LED provides 5 metres of night vision in total darkness and automatic push alert notifications, so nothing gets missed. At only 9.7cm tall, the camera's ultra-compact and inconspicuous design makes it ideal to fit in with any decor.

Allowing users to see their space in high definition, the Mini HD Wi-Fi Camera also comes packed with a 120-degree wide-angle lens. These features give users the ability to see more of their rooms, pets and kids while capturing even the smallest of details. With a 9.7cm height, similar to that of a deck of playing cards, this camera's miniature style makes it the perfect shelf or countertop Wi-Fi camera.

D-Link ANZ MD Graeme Reardon said, "The Mini HD Wi-Fi Camera is classic D-Link home security – a stylistic and aesthetically pleasing design that allows it to easily fit in with its surroundings while remaining packed with all the necessary features for any home or space that you need to keep an extra set of eyes on.”

Whether it's the 4x digital zoom, cloud recording1 or 5 metres of night vision, all of the camera's features can be accessed remotely through a smart device using the new mydlink app. Simply set up the Mini HD Wi-Fi Camera on the existing Wi-Fi network and start using it right away.

With the 180-degree field of view and D-Link's night vision technology, the new HD 180 Degree DCS-8100LH Wi-Fi Camera allows users to see just about everywhere and anything.

Sound and motion detection capabilities allow for push alerts to notify homeowners what's happening even when they're away and can also trigger video clip recordings to a local microSD card slot or cloud recording1.

The new HD 180 Degree DCS-8100LH Wi-Fi Camera also boasts:

• High quality 720p HD resolution
• 180-degree viewing angle
• mydlink app enables cloud recording1 and lets you remotely view, receive notifications, save snapshots and video clips to your mobile device
• Bluetooth setup
• Built-in IR LEDs to capture video in up to 5 metres of complete darkness
• Motion and sound detection
• 4x Digital Zoom
• H.264 support for the best video streaming performance
