Catalyst Cloud has released New Zealand’s first Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) certified Kubernetes service.
The global CNCF Certified Kubernetes Conformance Program guarantees application portability and assures customers that Kubernetes APIs work as designed.
The certification process puts Catalyst Cloud among the frontrunners of companies worldwide developing emerging international standards for cloud computing and providing a world-class solution to the New Zealand market.
“What makes Kubernetes interesting is how it makes cloud computing more accessible and easier to use. Until now, developers needed a lot of specialist knowledge to use cloud computing infrastructure. With a fully managed Kubernetes platform, developers can focus on their applications,” says Catalyst Cloud Managing Director, Bruno Lago.
In line with its strong commitment to business ethics and social responsibility, Catalyst Cloud has made all the code they developed to create their Kubernetes Service open source to benefit organisations here and worldwide.
