Business communications experts 2talk today launched Microsoft Teams Direct Routing solution DirectoR.
The service enables Microsoft Office 365 users with Microsoft E3 + Microsoft Phone System licensing or Microsoft E5 Licensing to link their Business Phone numbers to Teams and make and receive calls from the PSTN.
Teams is the fasting growing business application in Microsoft history. Users are embracing the collaboration and communication benefits the service offers including the ability to connect with anyone via Direct Routing.
2talk's solution uses a SBC (session border controller) that has been fully certified by Microsoft for Direct Routing, assuring call quality for all 2talk customers using Teams for telephony. Flood says the product offers comprehensive scalability from a few sessions to tens of thousands.
“Another big advantage of the 2talk solution is the ability for 2talk partners to instantly provision the Team user’s trunk and add numbers to it via our web portal. Partners will still need to complete some set up in the end customers Microsoft Office 365 Tenant, however 2talk will provide training and assistance for partners on this, and ultimately it’s super easy and quickly configurable,” Flood says.
Microsoft Teams is set to become the most popular workplace collaboration tool, and Flood says this momentum opens up a strong market opportunity for existing and new Microsoft partners.
The technology also provides a simple and effective way to replace aging PABX and telephony systems, and leverage existing Microsoft licenses in businesses small and large.
2talk is into its second decade of specialising in SIP, which makes it the ideal Direct Routing solution partner for the NZ channel. DirectoR will be available to both 2talk Agents and White Label partners.
In anticipation of demand for a hotly anticipated product, Flood says 2talk will provide training and support to all resellers interested in taking Teams to market.
