Handango launches competition to find the most fanatical mobile software customer
Posted on 3-Feb-2004 07:26 | Tags Filed under: News

Handango kicked-off its Mobile Fanatic Contest. The software provider is looking for mobile customers who are crazy about software for their phones or handhelds and have unique, funny or interesting stories to share. Customers can submit their stories on-line and be entered to win.

To participate, contestants must submit their stories before 2 April 2004 to be eligible to win. Handango's panel of judges will select one grand prize winner and ten finalists who have the most inspiring, hilarious or outrageous mobile software story. The grand prize winner will receive the phone or PDA of their choice and 100,000 Handango Rewards Points. The top ten finalists will each win 50,000 Handango Rewards Points as well as other runner-up gifts. Handango will announce the winners on 3 May 2004.

"As a software fanatic myself, I am excited to hear stories of how mobile software has changed someone's life or helped accomplish a life-long goal," said Clint Patterson, vice president of marketing at Handango. "Robust software coupled with a sleek device is a powerful combination. The Mobile Fanatic Contest is a great opportunity to connect with our hundreds of thousands of customers and find out just how significant that combination really is."
