Macrospace announces its next multiplayer innovation for mobile games
Macrospace announced details of its new mobile game 'Fatal Force: Earth Assault'. The game will introduce a number of connected features never before seen in a mobile game when it launches at the end of February 2004.

'Fatal Force: Earth Assault' will be the first Java mobile game to use Bluetooth, allowing gamers to play against each other deathmatch-style. And for the very first time on a conventional mobile phone, gamers can play in co-operative mode with friends who own a compatible java-equipped Bluetooth handset. Players will be able to unlock the various Bluetooth gameplay modes in addition to having a fully-featured singleplayer mode.

'Fatal Force: Earth Assault' will also allow gamers to create online player profiles, allowing gamers to form their own game clans and friendly leagues to compare scores and tactics with gamers around the world. Players will also be able to download additional levels specially designed for multiplayer Bluetooth battles, with the added bonus of an online global ranking system to show who is the best Fatal Force player.

"With different Bluetooth multiplayer modes, online scores and other brilliant connected features 'Fatal Force' shows that mobile games are not just simple puzzles or retro arcade games, but are some of the most innovative games on the market today".

'Fatal Force: Earth Assault' will be available from selected mobile games services from the end of February 2004.
