BlueWave for Pocket PC
The demand for navigational information below deck, as well as in the cabins is continuously growing. At the same time, modern Pocket PC with Bluetooth technology open new dimensions in flexibility and presentation of information.

BlueWave uses these technologies to realize the first mobile and wireless nautical information centre based on your existing instrument system. The product integrates Pocket PC, Bluetooth and existing Marine Instrument System as a mobile and wireless Information Centre.

Modern instrument systems that provide a multitude of nautical information, such as GPS, course, speed, water depth, wind speed and direction are today's standard. BlueWave allows you to view all the data anytime and anywhere. It also adds important alarm functions for MOB, Anchor and water depth.

BlueWave reads data from the NMEA-output of the existing instrument system. The special Bluetooth dongle is attached to these instruments. The range of at least 10 meters should sufficient for even larger boats, if the transmitter is mounted near midship.

BlueWave was tested with systems from Raymarine, B&G and Silva. Prerequisite for the connection is an NMEA output on the system bus, which may require an interface box (for example: Seatalk).

The actual breadth of information that can be displayed depends on the NMEA messages sent by the instrument system and is thus determined by the configuration of this system.

Price includes BlueWave Bluetooth dongle shipped seperately.
