Software allow different sound types to be used for ringtones on Treo 600
Canadian company Toysoft has released Lightwav. The program can be installed on palmOne Treo 600 smartphone devices and give the user the option to use any uncompressed wave file, mp3 and ogg (mp3/ogg requires PocketTunes 2.1) for alarms and tingtones.

Users can assign individual sound files to any person in the contacts or your farvorite database. Sound files can also be assigned to sms/mms/voicemail notifications.
