MyVGA freeware for Toshiba e800 Pocket PC
The Toshiba e800/e805 is the first Windows Mobile Pocket PC supporting VGA mode. As reported in our review, Toshiba allows running only three preinstalled programs in these resolutions, plus the latest Access Netfront browser.

The (currently) freeware MyVGA fixes this problem: it can switch the Pocket PC between QVGA and VGA modes, portrait or landscape, and unlock system for executing of other programs.

MyVGA also addresses the problem with standard fonts being too small for hi-res, giving the user the option to adjust the font size. The program fixes the problem by storing settings of other programs for each video-mode independently and restoring appropriate settings while switching resolution.

MyVGA can be only used with Toshiba e800/e805 Pocket PCs.

Note: The link in this article has been updated since the first release. Following discussions at Brighthand and Pocket PC Thoughts, Sourcefource had closed the project. PocketPCTools is satisfied there is no IP infrigement, and it's now hosting this software.
