Posted on 22-Feb-2004 20:42 | Filed under: News

Google Labs are testing a wi-fi search based on ZIP codes. The search results include a map and a list of wi-fi hotspots located around a specific ZIP codes in American locations.

When the user clicks on a specific search result Google returns a Mapquest map for the location with address, telephone number and distance from the ZIP code.
