Handango, Smartner and Openbit launch always on e-mail for Windows Mobile Pocket PC
Smartner announced the availability of Smartner Duality Professional, an Always-on Mail solution for individual users. Smartner Duality Professional is available by credit card purchase in most countries in the world, and for mobile subscribers of close to 70 operators in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, Australia, China, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

“We are excited about the partnership with Handango and Openbit. Now, for the first time, individual users can achieve the benefits of Always-on Mail immediately", says Ari Backholm, Executive Vice President, Smartner. “Simply download the software if it is not pre-installed in the device, confirm the subscription, and go!"

Smartner Duality Professional extends access to Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes to PDAs and smartphones. It automatically pushes new emails to the mobile device without any user interaction, and provides users with complete control over their desktop functions while away from their office. Users can access their desktop functions in real-time, with all actions mirrored simultaneously on their desktop.

Smartner Duality Professional is available for existing devices through Smartner web site, Handango and pre-installed in mobile devices purchased from various operators and retail outlets. Available plans include 30-day subscription for EUR 4 and 6-month subscription for EUR 20.
