The Wellington wi-fi provider is giving away free wi-fi access in all weekends during March 2004, plus the chance to win 5000MB traffic.
That's great news. I've been using CaféNET for a while now, and it's very convenient. Just to have an idea of how this is important, one of the stories I've heard from one of their directors goes like this: during the Lord of the Rings world premiere in Wellington one of the hotels in town was full of journalists, and they all demanded wireless connectivity, not available on that specific hotel at the time. Apparently the manager called CaféNET desperate to have a hotspot installed in the hotel now, which was accomplished in a few hours time.
