Walt Disney Internet Group announces global content distribution agreement with Vodafone
Walt Disney Internet Group announced a global distribution agreement with Vodafone to provide Disney Mobile services to Vodafone live! customers in 14 international markets. The announcement makes Disney Mobile content available to millions of Vodafone live! customers in the following markets: Australia, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Disney will produce a broad range of mobile entertainment content, including logos, wallpapers, animated wallpapers, MMS and Java Games, that will be offered to Vodafone live! customers. The content will be based both on Disney's classic characters and its latest feature animation and live-action movies, such as Disney/Pixar's "Finding Nemo" and Walt Disney Pictures' "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl." The Disney Mobile content will be optimized for preview and selection through Vodafone live! enabled handsets.

"We're very pleased to work with such a significant operator as Vodafone, which provides a great opportunity for even more Vodafone customers to access the Disney magic, whenever and wherever they are in the world," said Mark Handler, executive vice president and managing director, International, Walt Disney Internet Group. "We are pleased to have this global agreement with Vodafone, which shares Disney's vision of empowering consumers by offering them access to Disney magic where, when and how they want it."
