Bitstream announced an update to its mobile Web browsing technology, ThunderHawk 1.10. This release adds support for the HP iPAQ 4xxx series of Pocket PCs, as well as most MDA II and XDA II Pocket PC Phone Edition devices, including i-mate, O2, Qtek 2020, and T-Mobile devices.
The company quotes an article from Jim Karpen published on Pocket PC Magazine. Jim Karpen, associate writer for Pocket PC Magazine, called Bitstream ThunderHawk one of the "leading contenders for an alternative to Pocket Internet Explorer."
The other alternative presented in the quote article was the Access Netfront browser for Pocket PC.
