Microsoft promotes competition to find best applications for mobile devices
Posted on 12-Mar-2004 20:43 | Tags Filed under: News

Mobile2Market is the Microsoft certification and marketing program for Windows Mobile applications. Mobile2Market helps independent software vendors increase revenue and reduce time-to-market by streamlining application development and logo-testing and providing exposure to potential distribution channels worldwide.

Developers must submit 'work' or 'play' applications for Windows Mobile based Pocket PC and Smartphone to a Mobile2Market logo-testing partner until 30 June 2004 for a chance to win a big prize of US$25,000 plus application distribution. In addition, five finalists in each category receive featured promotions through Mobile2Market.

Applications will be judged on the following criteria: Optimization for the device category, Usability, Originality and Marketability.
