According to the press information, Motorola believes that busy mobile-professionals and tech-savvy consumers will appreciate the new Integrated Hands Free system with Bluetooth wireless technology that Motorola unveiled during the CeBIT 2004 in Hannover. The latest Motorola in-vehicle system will automatically connect to a driver's Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, whether the conversation was initiated before or after starting the vehicle, all without wires or connections.
The Motorola Integrated Hands Free system with Bluetooth wireless technology features intuitive user controls and is designed to help drivers keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. By incorporating advanced voice recognition technology into the system, drivers have the ability to simply speak the telephone number to which they would like to be connected, and the kit will place the call on the driver's behalf.
The company expects to sell stand-alone and integrated versions of the latest Integrated Hands Free system with Bluetooth to automakers, auto dealerships and in automotive consumer retail stores during the second half of 2004.
