The results of the Handango People's Choice awards for the spring are out. The People's Choice awards are bi-annual awards designed to honor the best mobile applications as chosen by customer votes. From 30 September 2003 through 30 March 2004 Handango customers casted their votes for their favorite J2ME, Symbian OS, Palm OS and Windows Mobile applications.

The developer of each winning application will receive US$5,000 in marketing promotions as well as right to the title "The People's Choice."
In order to vote, customers had to register on Handango. Each person was limited to one vote per product. More than 50,000 J2ME, Symbian OS, Palm OS and Windows Mobile Pocket PC applications were eligible to receive votes. Handango has reopened voting for Fall People's Choice awards. Winners will be announced 30 September 2004.
