Kāpiti-based cybersecurity firm Outfox Ltd has been named Security Company of the Year at the 2025 iSANZ Awards.
The judges said “Outfox is reshaping how small and medium businesses build cyber resilience. With New Zealand’s first Cyber Resilience Certification, it empowers everyday organisations to defend and recover confidently. Through diversity, plain-English guidance, and strong community ties, Outfox is making cybersecurity accessible, inclusive, and transformative for Aotearoa.”
The women-led company helps New Zealand’s small and medium businesses - the backbone of the New Zealand economy - build cyber resilience and safeguard their livelihoods.
Founded and led by Managing Director Jan Thornborough, and co-founder, Wendy Bennett, Outfox supports Kiwi businesses nationwide with services specifically tailored for small businesses that help them prepare for, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents.
“This award reflects the meaningful difference we’re making for businesses that risk everything to succeed. As small business owners ourselves, we understand the stakes and want to give others the confidence to grow safely in the digital age.”
Outfox has won a string of accolades this year, including the international BX eXCELLENCE Award for Professional Services and finalist nominations in two categories for the upcoming 2Degrees Wellington Regional Business Excellence Awards.
