Hisense introduced its newest generation of premium entertainment and smart home appliances designed to bring families closer together and enrich everyday living. Unveiled at Hisense’s New Zealand Innovation Showcase in Auckland, the range champions the brand’s continued leadership in display innovation and thoughtfully designed appliances built for modern homes.
This year, Hisense is introducing a new era of television display to New Zealand living rooms, bringing RGB MiniLED to the market for the first time. The technology takes Hisense’s expertise in MiniLED to the next level, leveraging individually controlled red, green and blue MiniLEDs to deliver best-in-class colour, contrast and visual brilliance.
In the home, Hisense is guided by a philosophy of reliable, purposeful technology. By integrating appliances across the home seamlessly via its ConnectLife app, Hisense provides customers with the tools and control to reduce household complexity, enabling more time for the moments that matter.
“Our New Zealand offering represents the next step in Hisense innovation, bringing together industry-leading display technology and intelligent appliances designed to simplify everyday life,” said Kevin Ke, Managing Director of Hisense Australia and New Zealand.
“From immersive large screen entertainment to smart kitchen and laundry solutions, we are focused on delivering meaningful innovation that seamlessly fits into our customer’s lifestyles and help bring their families closer, so they can focus on life’s most memorable experiences.”
Leading Hisense’s display lineup in 2026 is the massive 116-inch UX RGB MiniLED Smart TV, the largest consumer-grade TV on the New Zealand market.
The TV embodies the ultimate entertainment experience, powered by Hisense’s industry-leading RGB MiniLED technology and leverages a proprietary dual-chip architecture that separates colour and brightness processing to deliver precise, real-time optimisation. This architecture means even in the bright and airy living rooms of Kiwi homes, viewing is grounded in vibrant visuals and strong contrast.
Premium visuals demand premium audio to match, which is why Hisense has partnered with French audio expert, Devialet, to bring its immersive ‘Opera de Paris’-grade finish to the 6.2.2 CineStage X surround sound system to deliver an unparalleled acoustic experience.
The result is the most colour accurate, immersive and intelligent display technology available today – delivering best-in-class viewing across sport and entertainment.
Hisense is this year introducing a new tier within its TV offering - the UR range – which features its industry-leading RGB MiniLED technology.
The range will comprise the UR9 and UR8, offering customers the most precise and vibrant colour reproduction technology available today, featuring up to 100% BT.2020 colour coverage and Pantone colour and skin tone validated accuracy. At the same time, the UR range will support up to 180Hz refresh rates for smoother motion during high octane scenes and a matte finish to ensure your favourite content looks the best at all times of the day.
