Motorola is refreshing its smartphone line-up in New Zealand with the launch of seven new devices across its razr, edge, signature, and moto g series, doubling down on its premium offering.
The premium range includes the brand new motorola razr 70 ultra with the iconic razr flip design and the ‘impossibly thin’ motorola edge 70. Also joining the new line-up are the powerful motorola edge 70 fusion, moto g47 and moto g37.

Reinventing what’s possible with mobile photography, the motorola signature is an ultrathin smartphone (6.99mm) with four 50MP cameras, holding the DXOMARK Gold Label for the highest standards of photographic excellence. It also boasts a massive battery ensuring up to 41 hours of battery life, and next-generation AI performance with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform. Users can also expect up to seven years of Android OS and security upgrades - Motorola’s best upgrade policy yet available exclusively to the motorola signature and motorola razr fold.
These powerhouse features are all packaged within a sophisticated, contoured design, complemented by a brushed, aircraft-grade aluminium frame, luxury twill-inspired and linen-inspired textures and Pantone-curated colours. Praveena Raman, Head of Motorola ANZ, outlined the significance of this new launch.

Motorola’s bold new addition to the razr family and first book-style foldable smartphone doubles up as a spacious canvas for work, creativity, and play. The motorola razr fold (RRP$ 3,499) is slim and lightweight, yet strong to the core, packing an industry-leading camera system and a massive-capacity battery.
The razr fold’s impressive camera system also holds the coveted DXOMARK Gold Label for imaging excellence. It boasts three 50MP cameras6, 8k video recording with Dolby Vision, 100x Super Zoom Pro powered by moto ai. This is complemented by a vibrant 6.6” external display that transforms into a spacious 8.1″ canvas when unfolded. It is also the only foldable with Sound by Bose technology, giving users an immersive audiovisual experience. All of this is engineered to last with a titanium-reinforced hinge, Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3, and seven years of Android OS and security upgrades.
The razr fold comes in two luxurious finishes: Pantone Blackened Blue, featuring a woven diamond piqué-inspired, and Pantone Lily White, wrapped in a silk-inspired finish with a soft sheen.

The iconic motorola razr 70 ultra (RRP$ 2,499) delivers a pro-grade versatile triple 50MP camera system with AI-powered features, long-lasting battery, fast-charging and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic protection on the external display, available in a finely embossed Alcantara texture made in Italy, and enhanced by a delicate micro-lattice pattern.
The motorola edge 70 fusion (RRP $849), takes the things that matter most to an entirely new level. It features a long-lasting massive 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery with blazing-fast TurboPower charging and pro-level cameras for every shot, including a Sony LYTIA 710 sensor.
The motorola edge 70 (RRP $1,049) is the first in the edge 70 series, featuring an ultra-thin, almost weightless design that doesn’t compromise on performance. Despite its slim form, it delivers standout battery life with advanced silicon-carbon technology and features three high-res 50MP cameras, proving powerful battery and camera performance can coexist in an ultra-thin device.
Upgrading the value-packed moto g offering, complementing the new premium line-up, are also two new additions to the moto g range – the moto g37 (RRP $399) and the moto g47 (RRP $549), both designed as dependable 5G essentials that balance powerful everyday performance with standout photography, immersive entertainment and durable protection.
