OAG launches WorldMate For US travelers
Using data from OAG's flight schedules database, OAG WorldMate includes all published direct and connecting flights worldwide from over 900 airlines allowing travelers to see all their travel options while they're on the move.

OAG WorldMate allows travelers to access a range of useful flight and travel information via their handheld PDA, including:

  • Access to the latest flights - search instantly from a database of over 900 airlines for a flight. Download schedules for up to 5 city pairs at a time. Travelers can view the 50 fastest connections to a destination.
  • Daily schedule tools - travelers can now quickly view day-to-day itineraries, from flight times and hotel addresses to meeting details and car rental numbers. In addition, travelers can export all data to the calendar on a PC, so changing schedule information is easy.
  • Real time weather updates - with 5-day weather forecasts available from the Weather Channel for over 38,000 locations worldwide, travelers can be more prepared when planning a trip.
  • Destination information - quick access to local time, suitable tip recommendations, maps, and conversions for everything from currencies and clothes sizes to temperatures and measurements.

The company says that OAG WorldMate is the result of the recent sales and marketing agreement signed by OAG and MobiMate, an Israeli-based mobile application vendor.

The software is available for Windows Mobile 93538 Pocket PC and 68905 Palm OS based devices.
