Spb Software House contest: creating Extended Pocket PC Themes
Along with the release of Spb Pocket Plus 2.0 (read our review), Spb Software House also introduced a new concept of Extended Pocket PC Themes. Being a Pocket PC theme, an extended theme changes all what a standard theme should change (background and system colors, etc). However, it additionally changes the design of Pocket Plus indicators, taskbar battery indicator, and Close button task manager. Moreover extended themes contain native support for the landscape mode.

The developer announces the "Spb Extended Theme Design Contest". It's a $1000-budget competition. The deadline for the applications is 14 June 2004. Visitors of the most popular Pocket PC websites will be judges. Winners announced by 21 June 2004.

User can visit Spb Software House's website to download extended themes, find information about the difference between standard and extended Pocket PC themes, a tutorial on the extended theme creation process, and answers on frequently asked questions about extended themes, etc.
