Next generation Palm OS to be compatible with Bluetooth 1.2
PalmSource has licensed the Extended Systems' XTNDAccess Blue SDK version 2.0. The software complies with the recently announced Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) 1.2 specification, which supports coexistence of Bluetooth communications alongside 802.11, faster discovery and other enhancements. Extended Systems says PalmSource has licensed Extended Systemsí solution in order to provide Bluetooth functionality to its Palm OS licensees for the creation of next-generation smartphones and wireless devices.
