The company manufactures accessories for PDA, and announced a laser virtual keyboard earlier. In the suit against three companies and a couple of individuals, iBIZ claims breach of contract and fraud/misrepresentation, unjust enrichment, and business torts (unfair competition).
It's not clear from the press information how this impacts on the laser virtual keyboard release to the market.
The company says that since January the defendants have caused recurring delays in production and these delays were coupled with the defendants' demand for prepayment of goods. After several demand notices issued by iBIZ for information and assurances were not responded to, iBIZ was forced to take legal action in the Magistrates Court of Tel-Aviv - Jaffa, and a suit was filed today. iBIZ is represented by, Adv. Eric Sherby, 3 Abba Hillel Silver Street, Ramat Gan, Israel. A copy of the statement of claim (complaint) will be available on iBIZ's web site from 23 June 2004.
