WebIS has just announced a new release of its best seller software for Pocket PC. The company says that three months were spent on this release working on better Landscape support for Windows Mobile Second Edition devices, better High DPI support for VGA devices, and quite a few new features and improvements.
Some of the bigger changes include new support for Regenerating Tasks, Backup/Restore for the Journal, Hierarchical Tasks as well as Links, a new QuickEdit mode, a 12 month Date Picker which can be colored by category colors directly from your calendar, greatly improved Task Group By Progress/Completed modes, converting tasks to appointments by drag and drop in Day View, new Icon chooser, and so much more.
Pocket Informant 5.1 is a free upgrade to all 5.x owners and a has an upgrade fee of US$12.48 for all previous owners.
