Telerate has announced the launch of TelerateMobile, a product that facilitates the display and analysis of market data, including news, on wireless enabled devices such as the Blackberry handheld.
The TelerateMobile product utilizes technologies licensed from Sona Innovations, a Canadian company, to distribute data from Telerate hosted server farms to the handheld client devices. Although initially released for Blackberry devices, the technology is compatible with other formats such as Pocket PCs.
The TelerateMobile user benefits from a range of functionality including customisable watch lists, charting features, portfolio capabilities and alert services. In addition to displaying premium content from Telerate, an institution may incorporate in-house and specific source derived data via the TelerateConnect Toolkit for display with the TelerateMobile product.
