Australian mobile operator Optus has announced that it is now offering the RIM BlackBerry as part of a suite of business mobile email products. Allen Lew, Managing Director, Optus Mobile said Optus' approach was about ensuring its customers had access to a range of clever email solutions:

Optus' strength in the mobile email market is in working with our customers to identify their unique needs and determining the best solution."

Optus will sell the BlackBerry 7230 and BlackBerry 7730 and the Nokia 6820 with BlackBerry Connect to corporate customers with a range of payment plans available.
