New Geekzone feeds available: top seller software titles divided by platform
Posted on 14-Aug-2004 23:15 | Tags Filed under: News

RSS is a technology that allows web site publishers to make their content available through a syndicated “feed” that users can subscribe to receive. Users can then view the feed with the help of an RSS reader. Many commercial web sites and blogs publish summary level content through their RSS feeds. RSS feeds are constantly updated with the latest information from the content provider’s site. Using RSS, users can receive the most up-to-date information, delivered to them in their RSS reader.

You can read Geekzone articles on your computer by subscribing to our RSS feed. Our latest articles (news, reviews, articles, software and competitions) are included in the feeds.

The Geekzone news feed is available here Geekzone RSS feed and contains our latest news and articles.

We also offer four other feeds with special information. Based on Handango's Top Sellers software list we also offer:

Windows Mobile Pocket PC Top Seller software
Windows Mobile Smartphone Top Seller software
Palm OS Top Seller software
Symbian Top Seller software
RIM Blackberry Top Seller software

If you want to read RSS feeds on your Windows machine, we recommend Pluck, a free RSS feed reader that plugs into your Internet Explorer. It's convenient to use, and the Geekzone feed is now part of its default sources.

Two RSS feed readers for Pocket PC are 42989 PocketRSS and 93539 Egress.

A couple of RIM Blackberry RSS feed readers that also work with Java based mobile phones are 94773 RSS Orbit or 90714 M-Blog.

One Palm OS RSS feed reader is 87649 Hand_rss, while Symbian users have multiple choices: Feedburner is a Symbian RSS feed reader with versions for 116269 P900 and 119719 P800.
