i-mate Smartphone3 launched in the Middle East
The Windows Mobile based Smartphone is the same as the device known as Orange C500 in Europe. These phones are distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Carrier Devices, and should also be available soon in those two countries.

The i-mate SP3 is set to hit the Middle Eaastern market early September. The i-mate SP3 includes enhanced Bluetooth support as well as added OBEX Profile support. The tri-band GSM/GPRS phone is compatible with a full range of applications as standard, including Pocket Outlook, Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, Games and MSN Messenger.

The Smartphone has a built in VGA camera and supports MMS. The phone has a 64k colour transflective screen together with a new 200MHz processor.

All i-mate device users are able to take advantage of club i-mate, an exclusive club which offers excellent online support as well as ring tones, device themes, music, software and accessorise at special prices. Registration is free and membership also allows you access to club i-mate e-mail, a hosted Microsoft Exchange e-mail account with a capability of 10MB storage (read our review of club i-mate e-mail).
