Bafta Awards: Lord of The Rings won at Orange BAFTA

The second movie in the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy has proved to be the year's most popular film with the British public: 'The Two Towers' has taken away the Orange award at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, the only BAFTA award to be decided by members of the public. 'The Two Towers' also won two of the nine categories for which it was nominated, costume design and special effects.

Best film went to 'The Pianist', for which Roman Polanski also picked up best director.
