PhoneToday Release Candidate available
Posted on 24-Feb-2003 17:47 | Tags Filed under: News

I've found today Phone Today a very cool plugin for my Today screen. The program uses the Bluetooth connection between a Pocket PC and a mobile to collect information about its current status. You can configure the program to open a continuous connection to your mobile, or open and close it at selected intervals. Every time it polls the mobile, it'll check for new SMS, missed calls, battery status, GPRS and network status. All this information is shown in your Today screen:

The program will use the Pocket PC notification system (the bubble) and let you know of new SMS, or when a network connection is acquired. If you want, you can change the notification sound (and the software comes with some good sounds!)

There's a new version in their website, which includes an updated Call Log and some bug fixes...
