Motion detector for mobile phones
BLADOX released a new mobile phone accessory for motion and tilt detection. The device, equipped with a dual axis accelerometer, is called Turbo Motion. It allows to use mobile phones for vehicle security or goods transportation monitoring, amongst other uses.

The preinstalled Auto Alarm application is based on SIM Toolkit technology and targeted on car and motorcycle protection. Hidden in the vehicle it requires no installation of other sensors nor connection to car electronics. The application automatically sends a SMS if a movement is detected.

Turbo Motion can be used with all mobile phones produced in the last 5 years. This feature allows to reuse older mobile phones for low cost vehicle and container security and monitoring.

BLADOX provides all applications, including Auto Alarm as open source.
