Already known as the i-mate Jam (pictured) or T-Mobile MDA Compact, the Pocket PC Phone Edition codenamed HTC Magician will be available as QTEK S100, in markets where operators are not selling it already.
The HTC Magician is based on an Intel Bulverde XScale PXA270 @ 416 Mhz, 64MB SDRAM, with an option for 128MB SDRAM. It's a tri-band GSM/GPRS (900/1800/1900MHz, 850/1800/1900MHz, GPRS Class 10) devicem with a small 2.8" TFT 65k colours QVGA touchscreen. It also sports a SD/MMC expansion slot, a built-in digital-camera (1.3megapixels) capable of taking snapshots and videos (H.263 and MPEG4).
The QTEK S100 runs Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition for Phone Edition, and supports Bluetooth (Serial Port Profile, Headset Profile, DUN Profile, File Transfer Profile, Hands-free Profile, Generic Object Exchange Profile).
Dangaard, QTEK distributor in Europe, should have the QTEK S100 available November 2004.
