Voice dialing arrives for palmOne Treo 600
Grover Industries, Inc. is now offering a voice navigation solution for the Palm OS Platform. The first two products are VoiceLib SDK for the PalmOS and Voice Dialer 1.0 for the PalmOne Treo 600. The first public pre-release of the VoiceLib SDK for PalmOS allows all CodeWarrior, PocketStudio, and C type Palm OS developers to voice enable their existing and future applications. The first public pre-release of the Voice Dialer 1.0 enables all users of the PalmOne Treo 600 smartphone to voice dial their contacts with ease.

“We see a bright future for all types of voice applications utilizing our VoiceLib SDK for the Palm OS platform,” said Noel Grover, CEO Grover Industries, Inc. In the near future, Grover Industries, Inc. will release the “VoiceLib SDK for Palm OS” to include background noise filtration. (i.e. Dialing from inside noisy environments like your car.)

In the future, Grover Industries, Inc. will incorporate voice biometrics (voice authentication) into the “VoiceLib SDK for PalmOS”. “We feel this is the next and most exciting step in security for PalmOS device.” said Noel Grover, CEO Grover Industries, Inc.
