pointUSA 1.2 for Palm OS includes knowledge test about USA
Developer company fun4palm.com has released version 1.2 of its pointUSA software. The title is a knowledge database, providing key information about all the 50 states of America. The company points out that pointUSA is not only an advanced time system and knowledge database for Palm OS devices, it's also great edutainment for adults and kids. The quiz functionality of pointUSA offers nearly unlimited possibilities to test the knowledge about the capitals of the states, population of the 50 biggest cities and a lot more. Every quiz is generated out of hundreds of thousands possible questions.

pointUSA offers two maps, one displaying the states and the other one showing the 50 biggest cities with a yellow square indicates its position on the map.

It also shows time and date with an intuitive time reading: the clocks are represented depending upon time of day in different colors. Time and date as well as all other country specific facts change by moving over the map with the stylus.

pointUSA offers low and high resolution versions for all Palm OS devices and high quality color or grey graphics and sampled sound. The software will run without any restrictions for seven days and is available for 19.95 Euro.
