OAG launches new instant flight software for Pocket PC
OAG Flight-Finder is a new software that allows travelers to download comprehensive and unbiased flight information to a Pocket PC.

The program enables travelers to download and browse flight details from the company's comprehensive flight schedule database. With access to more than 950 airline carriers' schedules, OAG Flight-Finder assists customers in searching for alternative flights, and provides them with instant airline reservation numbers. Other features will include:

  • Autosync capabilities keep the most current information on PDAs
  • One touch function shows chosen routes on each day of the week
  • Easily view all flights departing in the next three months
  • Add chosen flight schedule to a Microsoft(R) Outlook calendar

"So many of us have to change our travel plans at the last minute, which is typically a hassle," notes Kathy Marr, vice president of marketing, OAG. "Flight-Finder will allow the end-user to be prepared for any circumstance and to travel worry-free."

OAG Flight-Finder is available in Basic and Plus editions in several geographic versions, including North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. The OAG North American Plus version includes the following coverage in less than 3 MB of memory:

  • Nearly 300 airlines, including low cost carriers
  • More than 230,000 flight schedules
  • Flights within North America and to key international cities
  • Over 1,100 airports
  • More than 15,000 city pairs
