Windows Mobile and Embedded DevCon 2005 announced

The MEDC 2005 (Windows Mobile and Embedded DevCon) is the premier event to get in-depth technical content and training for building devices and applications on the Windows Mobile and Embedded platforms. This year's event is happening 9-12 May 2005, on the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

MEDC 2005 offers attendees the opportunity to learn how to build and bring to market devices and applications, and to access the latest code, hands-on labs, technical breakout sessions, and more.

The event will have more than 80 sessions covering the following topics and more:

  • Developing Client Applications: Windows Mobile APIs, Windows CE APIs, Windows XP Embedded APIs, .NET Compact Framework versions 1.0 and 2.0, Microsoft ActiveSync®, Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, AppVerifier

  • Developing Server Applications SQL Server CE, SQL Mobile, ASP.NET 1.0 and 2.0, Speech.NET, Microsoft Windows Media Services, Microsoft MapPoint

  • Building Windows Embedded Devices: Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded, Platform Builder, CETK, Driver Development

  • Mobile Devices in the Enterprise: OTG, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, SharePoint, Windows Media Services

  • Hands-on Labs: Exchange Server, Systems Management Server (SMS), Visual Studio 2005, Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2, Windows CE 5.0
