PocketSensei has announced the release of the first VideoHound MoviPod module for the iPod. MoviPod Academy Award Winners is the first of several software packages the company is making available for the iPod.
The print edition of VideoHound's Golden Movie Retriever is the definitive resource of movie-industry insiders, providing over 26,000 movie reviews with ratings from "WOOF!" to four bones. In addition it contains comprehensive cast, director, writer, cinematographer and composer indexes with complete filmographies. PocketSensei has taken the contents of the irreverent, encyclopedia-sized video guide and packaged it into iPod sized modules.
PocketSensei's MoviPod offers reviews of Academy Award winners from 1927 to the present day with witty reviews, comprehensive filmographical facts, and entertaining trivia questions. Additional features include: extensive hyperlinks, easy one-click navigation and even insider notes revealing behind-the-scenes fun facts.
Additional modules based upon VideoHound categories bring VideoHound's unique and entertaining collections to the iPod. Each MoviPod will contain hundreds of the top movies of each genre.
"MoviPod brings the world's most exhaustive, sophisticated and stylish movie guide, to the world's most popular, sophisticated and stylish music player," said president Bohm S. Kim. "VideoHound MoviPod marries America's two biggest pastimes in a little white box -- or pink or blue."
